Solving real problems takes real effort, commitment, and vision. Rotarians work to protect communities from preventable disease, keep women and children healthy, improve education and economic outcomes, create safe water and sanitation infrastructure, and make our community and the world a more peaceful place.

We are working with various partners on the following projects:

  • Launched the Weekend Survival Kit project to provide meals for lower income students
  • Funded the Harris Nature Center Gathering Circle
  • Funded Reading Rooms at Okemos and Haslett Libraries
  • Funded new "Jaws of Life" for Meridian Township Fire Department
  • Co-Sponsored MSU Rotaract Club
  • Provide academic and vocational scholarships for graduating seniors from Haslett and Okemos High Schools
  • Supported Nyaka School and clean and safe water system in Kambuga Village, Uganda
  • Provided funds for new medical clinic and equipment in Agweng, Uganda
  • Partnering with the Gates Foundation, the WHO, and UNICEF to end polio, once and for all worldwide
